Positioning

Built for anyone explaining something.

Educators, tutors, course creators, founders, product teams, and dev-rel all need the same thing: clear teaching videos that look polished without a production team.

Educators and tutors

Whiteboard lessons, privacy-friendly classroom recording, captions, and reusable teaching media.

Creators and demo teams

Auto-zoom, camera scenes, social canvas presets, imported media, and exports that make demos look edited without opening a separate editor.

Local-first. Private by design.

Recordings live in ~/Movies/OurScreen on your Mac. No account is required, no cloud touches your lessons, and no telemetry is needed to make the app work.

One-time pricing

Stop paying rent on your own videos

FAQ

Pre-launch questions

Is OurScreen available today?

Not publicly yet. We are keeping the site in launch-list mode until signing, notarization, trial, licensing, and packaging are ready.

Will it require a subscription?

No. The local Mac app is planned as a one-time purchase. Optional cloud or AI features may come later, but they should not gate the local app.

Can I import existing videos or audio?

Yes, this is now part of the product scope. It makes OurScreen useful for editing existing lessons, voiceovers, and creator clips, not only new recordings.

Does everything stay on my Mac?

The core app is local-first. Recordings and projects stay on your Mac unless you choose to export or share them elsewhere.
